Communication
The School of Communication offers three academic programs in communication:
Communication Analysis and Practice (CAP)
CAP offers a broad-based education in communication combined with the flexibility to pursue your specific areas of interest, including public opinion and media effects, relational and health communication, and communication and advocacy.
New Media and Communication Technology (COT)
New Media and Communication Technology explores the way technology is transforming the field of communication through an interdisciplinary major to help you understand interactive technology, evaluate the user experience, and communicate with users from varying levels of technical proficiency.
Strategic Communication (SCM)
Strategic Communication teaches you ways in which organizations communicate in order to accomplish a goal, with focus areas including knowledge management, negotiation, team problem solving, leadership, inter-organizational relationships, and persuasive communication in sales and marketing.
